Bring relevant and exciting technology and STEM curriculum to your students. Our projects and lessons teach core competencies and are curriculum aligned.
We make it Easy to Get Started!
Students build scientific, engineering, art and math skills to create polished, portfolio-worthy game projects. Using Unity as the game engine they will ideate, plan, design, prototype, and build their own computational games and simulations with a suite of digital tools that are appropriate across grade levels.
Prep your students for a career after they leave the classroom. Our courses are based on industry-standard tools allowing students to learn using professional software and design processes, such as user centric and data driven design. Learners will build an online portfolio of work demonstrating their learning.
Students work in design teams to learn highly-valued social and emotional skills as they bring a pair game design project from idea to completion. Taking on different roles as they problem solve, think critically and build on their talents.
Students and teachers can access from anywhere with a computer and web browser.
Teachers can facilitate learning using UME’s excellent video lessons, projects and step-by-step instructions.
No downloads or software installation required. Everything is powered through a web browser and COPPA compliant for learners of any age.
Students can join LIVE online or pre-recorded classes instructed by a UME game design educator.
"Students who made their own game demonstrated significantly deeper engagement in their learning, demonstrating strategies using system analysis, decision making, and troubleshooting."
- Vos, van der Meijden, and Denessen (2011)
"I love seeing the energy and excitement that surges through students as they design and build their own playable video games."
- Robert, Secondary Teacher, Surrey BC.
“My son loved this group and we hope to do more with UME… Using the Unity engine was also a reason I (Mum) chose the program as this is one of the main game and 3D engines and so will be something my son can continue to develop skills in.
The pre-course setup of the program was of a high standard and it allowed students to easily be able to explore different game mechanics. Highly recommend it.”

“My kiddo loves the UME Unity Video Game Camps! He is so proud to show us what he's made & learning how to work through problems is helping him tackle other learning challenges, too. Thank you! “
